Yesterday I rose in the House of Commons to wish all Canadians a happy #Canada150. There are so many great ways to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation!
Making a difference for Canadian Women
I am very proud of the work our Government is doing to promote gender equality and women's empowerment. I wanted to take a moment to recognize the various efforts we have taken with gender equality in mind. With these efforts, alongside national organizations like Equal Voice, Canada is on the right track towards women's equality in politics and everywhere else.
My speech in support of Bill C-277
I was proud to rise in the House of Commons to speak in support of this bill, which calls for a framework for palliative care to be created. All Canadians deserve compassionate end of life care, and I am proud to have worked on this bill in the Health Committee, and to support it in the House.
